Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-05-05
Hackystack (the "Site") is operated by Longevity Insights LLC. This page explains what data we collect when you use the Site and what we do with it.
What we don't collect
The Site is a static website. We don't run accounts, comments, or forms. We don't sell, rent, or share data with data brokers, and we don't use analytics or advertising tooling for ad personalization, remarketing, or audience-targeted advertising.
What we do collect
Server logs. Our hosting provider (currently Vercel) records standard access logs — IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamp — for operational, security, and abuse-prevention purposes. These logs are retained per the provider's default retention window. See the Vercel Privacy Policy for details.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand which
pages get attention and how visitors arrive at the Site. GA4 sets first-party
cookies (e.g., _ga, _ga_*) and collects pageview data,
device and browser information, referral source, and IP-derived approximate
geolocation. IP addresses are anonymized in GA4 by default. We use this only for
site-traffic analysis and do not enable Google Signals, advertising features, ad
personalization, or remarketing. See
Google's Privacy Policy
for details on Google's data handling. To opt out, you can install the
Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on
or use a browser that blocks third-party trackers.
Email correspondence. If you email us at hello@hackystack.org, we retain your message and our reply for as long as needed to handle the correspondence. We do not add your email to any mailing list.
Third-party services
Pages on the Site may link to third-party sources we're commenting on (tweets, Reddit posts, podcasts, blogs). When you follow those links, the destination's own privacy policy applies.
Other third-party services we use:
- Vercel — hosting and access logs (linked above).
- Google Analytics 4 — site traffic analysis (linked above).
The Site may, now or in the future, include affiliate links, advertising, or sponsored content. If we add any such integration, this Privacy Policy will be updated to disclose what data the integration collects.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under the GDPR, CCPA, or other privacy laws — including the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. To exercise those rights, email hello@hackystack.org.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
